New faces...I like it. Aitken, bball, thanks for stopping by guys.

Aitken, anyone else you want to bring over from DS is cool.....I think most people at least know me....

I'm working the crowd on SEO Chat too.

Any ideas for new content here would be appreciated too. I've been busy with so much other stuff that my creativity has been a little cramped.

Oh RLY, because I believe you post more then i do. I don't mean exactly like it just somewhere to discuss non computer related stuff.

I don't want this forum to look like a place where nerds hang out, and talk about their lifeless issues-- as you'd say 'non computer related', and full of off-topic. Stick to the thread title.

To see the current Home page hub, click Home in the left navigation of the Store Administration. We would like to make this your management hub where you can see the status of your daily activity and quickly link to reports and graphs that will help you see your store activity and trends to help you manage and market your business more effectively. The overall idea for this page is to make it as customizable as possible. We would give you an easy way to add components to the page that are most helpful to you and remove ones that you do not want to see. We would like your input so that we can help build features for this page that will be most useful to you.

Here are some features that we have seen suggested:

· Inventory component with details about the number of active products in your store, the number of featured products, best selling products, low inventory, backordered products, number of eBay listings, etc.

· Order component with quick links to your pending orders, ready-to-ship orders, completed orders and information about your top subscription products.

· Shipping component with quick links to your products that are ready for shipping, etc.

· Marketing component with details about your top promotions, top sales associates, top sales leads, top affiliates, etc.

· Customer component with information about new customers, top customers by sales, etc.

· Quick Reports & Graphs to show how your business is doing such as site traffic reports with conversion rates, customer visits and time of visits, customer referral sources ie: Google, eBay, etc., most popular searches and most popular pages viewed, etc.

· Notepad component where you will have a small space to save personal notes. You could use this to keep track of to-dos or anything else that would help you manage your business more effectively.
